About David
David Shipley has been a financial advisor in Utah since 2003. He earned the Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2006 and uses a comprehensive approach to helping his clients work towards reaching their financial goals. Prior to joining Zions Wealth Advisors, he was a financial advisor with J.P. Morgan Securities and also served as a partner with Acquire Wealth Advisors.
David listens to his clients to understand their goals and objectives and works to build trust by exceeding their expectations. He is a lifelong learner and worked to complete his master’s degrees and his designations during his time as an advisor, as well as serving as an adjunct professor.
A native of Idaho, David has called Utah home for 22 years. He served for four years on the Provo City Council. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and enjoying the outdoors, traveling and hiking.
